Mangrove Dive Lodge is a peaceful eco-lodge in the traditional coastal village of Bahowo, just 20 metres from the shoreline and next to Bahowo Mangrove Park. Bahowo is a traditional fishing village where guests can experience authentic local life and warm North Sulawesi hospitality. Just a short walk away is Dermaga Pantai Bahowo, one of the longest coastal jetties around Manado and one of the best places to watch the sunset over the Sulawesi Sea. The jetty is also the gateway to Bunaken National Park. Beyond its end, shallow reefs descend into spectacular coral walls, while several excellent dive and snorkelling sites are located just offshore. Healthy coral reefs, sea turtles and diverse tropical marine life make Bahowo a perfect destination for underwater exploration. Next to the lodge, Bahowo Mangrove Park protects a rich mangrove ecosystem where visitors may encounter mudskippers, kingfishers, monitor lizards and many other coastal species. With a little luck, wild tarsiers can also be spotted nearby. Behind the village lies Taman Hutan Raya Gunung Tumpa, a protected tropical forest with beautiful scenery, hiking opportunities and panoramic views over Manado Bay and Bunaken National Park.
