Melati House is a gorgeous private, secure villa set within a beautiful walled garden. Situated on a quiet residential road on Jalan Sanghiangkalang, Melati House benefits from the nearby cooling sea and river breezes while the beaches, river, cafes and restaurants of Batukaras are only minutes away. Melati House, encompasses a main house, studio and joglo, drive and garden. It is perfect for the gathering together of family or a group of friends. Contemporary, aesthetic, cosy and supremely comfortable, Melati House has all the facilities and mod cons you need to have a wonderfully quiet and relaxing holiday. The main house has 2 double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed, AC and an ensuite bathroom with hot shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, AC and an ensuite bathroom with hot shower. The joglo has a king bed, AC, ceiling fan and a semi-open ensuite bathroom with hot shower. The studio has a small double (super single), AC, ceiling fan and an ensuite bathroom with hot shower. Our water is enhanced with a pump. Tested, safe drinking water is provided. For everyone to enjoy being together there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area & lounge areas as well as a spacious veranda overlooking the back garden. A cook and helper can be arranged. The villa is cleaned every other day, with fresh bedding & towels every 3 days while rubbish is removed every day. There is a carport and secure driveway parking for up to 3 cars, an outside shower and a beautiful, walled tropical garden for you to enjoy. The main gate can be bolted at night. While young children are free, for more than 8 adults there is a supplementary charge. Please contact us if there are more than 8 guests. Two extra mattresses, with bedding, are available. Batukaras is a laid back, friendly and clean surfing and fishing village near Cijulang and Pangandaran in South West Java. It has friendly waves and pretty environs. There is a toll (per vehicle) to enter Batukaras. You can drive, cycle or walk to all the beaches, cafes and restaurants and the river from Melati House. The main beach is Lego Pari. This has a left handed point break, with banana boats, boogie boards and tures for rent. It is great for building sandcastles and playing football. Lego Paris has lots of trees to sit under too. The second main beach is Batu Damar, which is now free of fishing boats. The best place for swimming is to access the beach by the car park, opposite Salt Cafe. All the way along Batu Damar there are places to sit under the trees and there are lots of warungs too to get a drink or snack from. Further along, there is the Reef Break and, when the tide is low, rock pools to explore. Batukaras has many different food options for all tastes and budgets. Our recommnendations: Swell Dough for lunch. Kebun Pizza for pizza (open Fri, Sat & Sun evenings only). Bayview for seafood. Kedai Mini for sunsets. House of Sawah for breaksfast. Kokyo for coffee and pastries. Bonsai Cafe for dinner. Amalia Bakery for bread. In Cijulang: Diujung Laut for coffee, Son of Sun for coffee and Asian food, Ibu Ade for the best Indonesian food around. For attractions, Green Canyon, Green Valley and Madasari are all fantastic. For TikTok, Le Pari, House of Sawah and Warung Comeng are the must visit places.
