We skipped luxury and kept the good stuff. Pelangi Beach Homestay is a colorful, simple beachfront stay in the heart of Amed. Cool water showers, hot snorkeling spots next door, great service, ocean views and a rooftop made for sunsets and shared stories. Although the lively Amed Center with dive schools, great cafés, and restaurants is just a few steps away, the place is peaceful and quiet, the sea just before your eyes. You hear only the surf, and sometimes the chicken and roosters from a far. A place for traveling people who value connection, color and experiences over extras.
