Here, fermentation is an active daily practice: kombucha quietly cultures on wooden shelves, jars of kimchi and pickled vegetables mature over time, and handcrafted ferments transform harvests into nourishing food and beverages. The kitchen celebrates slow processes, preservation, and the craft of cultivating flavor naturally. Together, the home and farm create a self-sustaining environment that encourages mindful living, connection to the land, and a deeper appreciation for food made with care from seed to table.

Situated within semi-urban landscape—where rice fields meet growing residential areas—our house embraces its position between rural and urban dynamics. This geographic and cultural in-betweenness informs its programmatic approach: encouraging residents to observe, engage, and respond to the surrounding environment.
