Hillview Apartment is a purpose-built workers’ accommodation, located to the side of our main residence. While attached to the main house, it has its own private entrance, offering privacy and convenience. The apartment sits alongside our established workers’ rental property, Hillview Lodge, and is intended strictly for work-related stays. The apartment consists of two bedrooms: one with a king-size double bed, and a second with one double bed and one single bed. Both bedrooms include fitted wardrobes and TVs, with free Wi-Fi throughout. There is a compact kitchenette and seated area, equipped with an air fryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, with tea and coffee provided. The large bathroom features a walk-in shower and a full bath. Heating, hot water, fresh linen and towels are included. The apartment also offers full TV channels and exterior CCTV for added security. This accommodation is designed for workers only and is not suitable for holiday stays, families, or guests intending to remain on-site during the day. It is ideal for contractors and workers who require a clean, comfortable place to stay and rest between work shifts.

Your hosts, Sarah and Anthony, are the owners of Hillview Apartment and Hillview Lodge. They live alongside the accommodation in the main family residence, allowing them to be on hand if assistance is ever needed, while fully respecting guests’ privacy and space. The apartment offers self check-in for convenience and independence. Each bedroom has its own lockable door, with keys provided, and the front door key is included for easy access. Guests can enjoy a quiet, private stay, knowing the hosts are nearby should anything arise, but day-to-day interaction is minimal unless requested.

The neighbourhood is a quiet rural setting at the foothills of the scenic Croghan Hill area, located less than five minutes from Rhode village. Local shops, pubs and services are all within a short drive. The apartment is set within the grounds of the family home, alongside our established Hillview Lodge workers’ accommodation. While there may be other guests staying on-site, the apartment remains private, secure and discreet, accessed via a private 100-metre laneway. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Dublin–Galway motorway, it is an ideal base for contractors and workers operating across the Midlands, and is approximately one hour from Dublin, offering excellent accessibility while retaining a peaceful countryside setting.
