Sandra is looking forward to hosting guests in 2026. Sandra's husband David is retired, likes his gardening, DIY and community volunteer work. Sandra is a busy mum to three daughters. We have one pet cat called Simba. We enjoy reading and walking, Kilgarvan has been our home for the past six years.

Kilgarvan is very scenic with stunning mountains, native trees and has some lovely walks locally down the old Bantry Road/old Kenmare Road passing beautiful waterfalls of the Roughty River, visit Kilgarvan Motor Museum, or stroll along the Old Bog Road up to Hidden Valley passing the two quaint railway cottages from the time when Kilgarvan, Co.Kerry, was one of the small villages to be served by the Great Southern & Western Railway's branch line from Headford Jct, on the Tralee line, to the town of Kenmare, which ran from 1893 to 1959. Kenmare Heritage town is only 10 minutes away with its colourful buildings, boutiques, restaurants/cafes, art, sculpture and photography galleries to suit every taste and budget.
