This beautiful three bedroom cottage has been our family home for hundreds of years. The property is situated in the Irish countryside, on the Limerick-Tipperary border, overlooking the Galtee mountains in the distance. The cottage & surrounding areas are peaceful but not isolated. A lovely getaway space for up to 6 people, with full kitchen & cooking facilities, two bathrooms and comfortable lounge. Next door is the Idler Bar, a fantastic, traditional Irish pub. Private, on site parking.
I’m Beth, I’m living in County Meath, Ireland, and am undertaking a PhD in veterinary sciences! I am hosting my family home, a beautiful cottage in the Irish countryside on the Limerick-Tipperary border.
From the cottage you can see views of the Galtee Mountains, making this a great place to stay if you love the countryside. Despite the rural nature of this property, there is plenty to do, including outdoor activities (hiking, biking, watersports), you can visit nearby towns and villages like Tipperary and Adare (voted Irelands prettiest town). You can visit famous landmarks and historic sites, like Bunratty Castle and Rock of Cashel. Or you can relax at the peaceful cottage and enjoy the mountain views.
