The Burren, a unique limestone area of 250 square kms. Rich in archaeology, ancient settlements and ecclesiastical sites, perfect for walking and cycling. The Cliffs of Moher, rising majestically 250 mts. above the Atlantic Ocean, and eight kms. long, offer one of the most spectacular sights in Europe. Cliffs side walks allow views to the Aran Islands, Connemara Hills and Galway bay. The Aran Islands ,provide an example of early Christian and a Celtic Heritage , there are ferries from Doolin to the Aran Islands.
