Recently renovated 200 year old farmhouse. Fabulous countryside setting and views. Only 5 minutes to Cabra Castle. Midway between Dublin and Belfast. Three king size en-suite rooms. Beautiful lounge exclusive to guests with wood burning stove, tea/coffee dock and smart TV. Breakfast served in our gorgeous dining room adjacent to guest lounge. A La Carte breakfast choice inclusive.

We have years of top class hospitality experience gained in pubs, hotels, restaurants and airlines. We are both retired……but this keeps us active and engaged. Duncan cooks and Rhona provides the thoughtful touches. We love where we live and are sure you will too.

Descart Lodge sits on its own lane over looking Descart Lake. We are 10 minutes from Kingscourt and Carrickmacross. We think our setting is idyllic and hope you will also. Handy for weddings at Cabra Castle which is 5 minutes away with good taxi service. Also accessible to Darver Castle, Tankardstown and The Riverbank.
