Elsie is a loveable character with a strong personality. Her views on Life, The World and People are often shared with guests during many informal and enjoyable encounters at: The Breakfast Table; During Airport Shuttle Run's or on Divine Mercy Guest Tours to the Historic Knock Shrine and the very beautiful countryside of County Mayo & Connemara. Gerry, Elsie's Life Long Partner in the Guest House and in Marriage is one of the most adorable guys you can meet.....warm, witty and sincere. He is softly spoken and generous to a fault. Need a last minute button re-sewing on a shirt for a Wedding or your Trousers pressed for Holy Mass at Knock Shrine, he will always be there. He is cheerful and will also assist you with local knowledge; as well with more in depth knowledge of Ireland's Political, Historical, Religious, Cultural, Social & Sporting Histories. He is Divine Mercy's own Hidden Treasure. As a couple they have made this Guest House into the beautiful place to visit. Warm, Welcoming and Full of Irish Hospitality....WELCOME

Divine Mercy is a quietly located but conveniently placed Guest House/B & B located on the Airport Road in Knock Village. You easily access the beautiful Village and it's National Marian Shrine on foot, by car or with the help of Guest House Owner's Elsie & Gerry Tully. Divine Mercy Guest House gives you ready access to superb air, road & rail links which connect you to other destinations of choice be they local, national or international. Elsie has managed this guest house for over 20 years, with many guests returning several times annually to enjoy her warm hearted Irish Hospitality. Whether you are here for business or pleasure Elsie will cater to your every need. Her food is beautifully presented and she has time to share a conversation with all. Often she can be found in her kitchen cooking complimentary scones for guests, to be served with Hot Irish Tea, Jam & Lashings of Butter. She is wealth of information and for those interested in The Marian Apparition at Knock she is a quasi expert. Her Husband Gerry often accompanies her & guests on mini tours of the beautiful County of Mayo, taking in pretty local towns such as Westport or historical sights such as Ballintubber Abbey

Knock is a small town in County Mayo, Ireland, but it received international fame after local people reported seeing the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist at their parish church on August 21, 1879.
The Catholic Church has declared the visions trustworthy and in 1979 Pope John Paul II made a personal pilgrimage to Knock. Mother Teresa visited in 1993. Today, over one and a half million pilgrims visit the Knock Shrine every year.
