Garrane House is a well appointed old fashioned house in the country. A very enjoyable breakfast is served in a lovely diningroom. We offer refreshments to guests on arrival. There are gardens and horse paddocks. Free wifi and free parking are available.
We are situated in a pleasant rural setting near the village of Croom which has a beautiful town park and restaurant. Lough Gur with its lake, walks and archaeological sites is 15 km. Ballyhoura Mountain has exciting cycling and hiking trails 30 km. Pretty Adare village has historic castle and abbey ruins, golf and a great choice of restaurants and pubs 12 km. There is a fine horseracing track at Patrickswell 8km. Other attractions within a short distance are King John's Castle and The Hunt Museum, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the Forest Park trail at Cragannaun and Killaloe on Lough Derg. At one to two hours distant there is a great choice of fantastic scenic areas in the coastal parts of Co Kerry and Co Clare.
