My home is located in the village of Kilgarvan, which is a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Heritage Town of Kenmare. It is in a small complex of houses, and is a very quite and peaceful place. Thought I do have 2 small dogs and 1 cat...all very friendly. They are not allowed up stairs to the guest rooms, so rest assured of the hygiene factor. I have 2 lovely guest bedrooms. Room 1 is ensuite and has a king size bed. Room 2 has a super king size bed and has exclusive use of a bathroom. Towels and linens are supplied, also toiletries.
I am a single widowed lady. I have 2 small dogs who are very friendly and Harry the maine coon cat. I am very settled and no longer travel as much as I used to. I spent quite a lot of time in South Africa, where I studied and done volunteer work. I like to explore my own beautiful surrounds, and go for walk and drives, all of which I will tell you about.
This area if very quiet and peaceful. Only 10 minutes from Kenmare town, 30 minutes from Killarney and an hour and 10 minutes from Cork airport/city. There are a couple of small pubs in the village and from time to time they have live music. Also public busses are available on a regular basis throughout the day.
My property has a backdrop of mountain and rolling hills.
