Welcome to McGinns, a charming newly renovated two-bedroom cottage located right in the heart of Kilcormac town, Co. Offaly. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing break, outdoor adventures, or to explore Offaly’s rich heritage, this cosy yet spacious home comfortably accommodates up to four guests and offers the perfect base to explore the best of the Midlands. Ideally suitable for couples, families or friends, the cottage features a bright open-plan kitchen and living area, two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and one bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catered stay, including a full-size fridge freezer, oven, induction hob and dishwasher. The bathroom has an electric shower. Private parking is available outside.
The cottage is conveniently located right in the centre of Kilcormac town, where all the essentials are within walking distance - shops, pubs, pharmacy and barista coffee available Fri-Sun in the town square. Location & Things to Do: The cottage is ideally situated for exploring Offaly and beyond: * Just 18km either side of the cottage along the N52 are the towns of Tullamore and Birr. * Lough Boora Discovery Park is a short drive from the cottage, perfect for walking, cycling and exploring the sculpture trails. The Sauna @ Lough Boora is open for bookings each weekend. * Easy access to the Slieve Bloom Mountains for hiking, mountain biking and scenic views. * A perfect place to stay for those attending weddings in Birr, Kinnitty, or Tullamore.
