The cottage is located in a rural area. It is four minute walk from a small harbour on one of Ireland's largest lakes Lough Derg on the river Shannon.The monastic island of Iniscealtra or Holy Island is a short trip from this harbour.The cottage has one double bed and single bed in the same room.There is a sofa bed in the living area.There is a patio area adjacent to the cottage and the cottage overlooks vegetable garden and wildflower meadow in Summer.

I have been working in the tourism sector for a number of years.I have competed in athletics for many years , having completed 36 marathons to date.I have massage qualifications with I.T.E.C. I offer Swedish massage, Aromatherapy massage, Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage, Indian Head massage, Deep tissue massage and Shirodhara in treatment room adjacent to cottage .Prior bookings and enquiries are essential to be guaranteed availability of treatments. There is now a mobile sauna located 5 mins walk from the cottage at Knockaphort harbour on two days of the week, Mondays and Fridays. It is called Iniscealtra Sauna.If you contact Tanya

The neighbourhood is a scenic area. We are approximately 2 km. from Mountshannon village which also overlooks Lough Derg lake. In the centre of the village there is the 'Aistear ' amenity park with maze, children's playground and outdoor exercise machines for teenagers and adults. Ten minutes from the cottage you will find WoodPark forest park where you will find many paths for walking..
