The Véro is a 30-room townhouse hotel on Muckross Road, Killarney, 2 minutes' walk from Killarney National Park and 8 minutes from the town centre. Muckross Road puts you close to everything without being in the middle of it. Killarney National Park is 2 minutes away on foot, and the cycle path starts right at the door, following the Flesk River into the park itself. Guests often head out before breakfast and are back in time for coffee. Inside the park, Muckross House and Gardens and Ross Castle are both an easy walk or cycle, and Torc Waterfall is a short drive. Jaunting cars (traditional horse and trap) leave from near the park entrance for those who'd rather be driven than walk. Further out, the Ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe make for a full day's driving, and both are reachable within the hour. Killarney town centre is an 8 minute walk, with its pubs, restaurants and live trad music spread along a compact grid of streets, so there's no need for a car in the evening. Killarney Racecourse is three minutes away for race days, and the INEC arena is ten minutes away, making The Véro a handy base for concerts as well as walking and touring.
