Property info

Rock Farm Slane is a glamping, ecotourism and activity centre and organic farm on the Slane Castle estate stretching for 1.5km along the banks of the River Boyne. We have many different types of accommodation including shepherd's huts and yurts. - Please ensure that you have looked at the photos that correspond to the type of accommodation you are booking as the units offer different amenities. We are set in the heart of the Boyne Valley and only 10 minutes from Newgrange. We are less than five minutes from Slane Whiskey Distillery where you can have a tour of Slane Castle and the distillery. There are lots of other historical sites in the area including Trim Castle, Monasterboice Abbey, Hill of Tara and Hill of Slane. Slane village is only a 10-20 minute walk from Rock Farm. In the village you will find lots of good pubs some of which do traditional music sessions. There are delis, cafes and restaurants.
