Teach Beag is a small, but private, self contained studio apartment overlooking the majestic Wild Atlantic Way with spectacular sea views. It has its own private patio. The kitchen is a basic one wall kitchen with gas oven/hob washing machine, fridge & freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a Nespresso coffee machine. It is equipped with all the basics that travellers need on their self catering journeys. The main bedroom is upstairs and this is accessed by a pull down ladder which can be put away during the day to give more space to the apartment below. However, the stairs may not be suitable for which anyone with mobility issues or the elderly. We offer a sofa bed below that is easily pulled out, very comfortable and not fussy. This cosy gem is offered primarily to couples and has everything you need for your Celtic getaway and the overnight cost includes the linen and towels. However, if there are two individuals needing separate beds (and therefore bedlinen), Father and daughter, mother and son, two friends etc please be advised that there is a charge for the extra set of linen for the sofa bed to cover the laundry expenses. Please let the hostess know when booking how your party is made up and if you require the sofa bed made up in advance of your arrival. If you are a couple you are welcome to use the sofa bed below. Please let us know in advance. The bathroom is a small wet room with shower, WC, towel radiator, mirror and small wash hand basin. Everything you need but again it is compact! Our main objective is to offer the traveller an affordable cosy spot to recharge on their trip around South West Kerry in a location that has beautiful views of Dingle Bay and the distant Brandon mountains. The small apartment is perfectly located (we feel) for anyone wanting to explore the Ring of Kerry and what we offer is a home from home for your stay. I am an Artist who runs an Art Studio/Gallery on site. I offer Oil Painting /Acrylic and Watercolour tutorials and Creative Retreats and residencies. My interests are Hiking, swimming and baking. We can guide you for the very best walks in the area and are passionate about helping you discover the scenic spots that might otherwise be overlooked. We can offer home baking and breakfasts/evening meals at additional costs. We enjoy meeting new people and are very welcoming.

Kells Bay beach is a 5 min drive from Teach Beag. The apartment/ house is on an elevated site beside a traditional Thatched home ( great for photos!) on the side of a small mountain overlooking Dingle Bay from the Iveragh peninsula on the famous Ring of Kerry Road. Although close to the N70, it is set back so it's very quiet, private yet beautifully situated for all your Kerry adventures.
