This charming family-run guest house overlooks Galway Bay, and offers free private parking on site. The beach is just across the street, and the city centre is a 10-minute walk away. Some rooms benefit from sea views, and all have en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Decorated in traditional style, rooms at Westwinds Guestlodge also come with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is provided in the morning and a range of restaurants can be found in the centre of the city for evening dining. The resort area of Salthill can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Westwinds is also just 5 minutes’ drive from Galway Golf Club.

Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, Just 12 minute walk from Galway city centre, Westwinds Guesthouse is set over-looking the best of the Wild Atlantic Way on the scenic route to Connemara and County Clare. With flat screen TVs in all rooms at Westwinds Guesthouse featuring free WiFi, and free tea and coffee. Rooms also include an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms also enjoy beautiful sea views. Full Irish breakfasts and other options are served each day, in our breakfast dining room all made from locally sourced produce. My husband Mike and I own and run a catering company called Corrib Catering, so your Breakfast each morning is cooked to order by myself. Free parking is available directly outside the house, and our Guesthouse is located on Salthill’s coast road over looking the Sea and opposite the promenade
My name is Shauna, I operate the guesthouse with My husband Mike, We own and run a catering company called Corrib Catering. It is the family home of my parents Paddy and Rita who purpose built, set up and operated the Guesthouse 15 years ago, they built up a fantastic business before retiring 5 years ago. They live in the house still love to interact with our guests and are on hand at all times for chat, information bookings, reservations and recommendations.
Our neighbourhood is very safe and scenic ..you will enjoy it so much.
