Enjoy nearby historical sites, the Lakelands Greenway, and serene surroundings. A local pub, small grocery store, filling station, and Greenway entrance are all close by. With Dublin less than an hour away, your peaceful countryside escape awaits.

Hi, my name is Louise. Windmill House was my childhood home. A physical therapist by trade, I'm delighted to breathe new life into my family home by offering it to others for stays in the historic Meath countryside.
Windmill House is ideally situated in the serene countryside of Clongill, County Meath, nestled between the towns of Navan and Kells and just 50 minutes from Dublin Airport. The nearby village of Wilkinstown, less than two miles away, offers convenient amenities with a shop, pub, playground, and access to the scenic Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway, along with “Pairc Beo,” where bike rental is also available. This location in Ireland’s Ancient East places you close to some of the country’s most iconic sites, including the legendary Slane Castle, the ancient wonder of Newgrange, and Emerald Park for a lively day of family fun. The rich heritage and attractions of the Boyne Valley are right at your doorstep.
