The Surroundings – Every Path Leads to Beautiful Moments Shifon rests in the heart of the Golan Heights, surrounded by dormant volcanoes and landscapes that look as if they were painted by hand. Around you — oak forests, crisp mountain air, and moments that make your breathing slow down. All around are endless hiking and cycling trails: Mount Bental, Mount Avital, Gilabon Stream, El Al Canyon, the Golan Trail, horseback riding routes, and even off-road ATV adventures for those who like a little thrill with their view. When you’re ready to pause and taste the region — you’ll find a world of flavors. Near Ein Zivan lie some of Israel’s finest wineries: Pelter Winery (which also serves food), Tel Shifon Winery, Odem Mountain Winery, Château Golan, and several smaller boutique wineries where every sip tells the story of the Golan’s volcanic soil — bold, wild, and yet refined. And for beer lovers, the Golan Brewery Garden in Ein Zivan is a must. The local culinary scene is just as rich: HaBokrim, Pera, La Pizza, Norden, Elka, and Konfafa, along with authentic Druze and Italian home-style food.
