At an altitude of 2414m (7918ft.)at northeast corner of Kashmir valley, 110km from Srinagar and 12km from Pahalgam, Aru is the most popular hill resort in the Valley, where one can romance with nature endlessly. Spring extends from March to early May. This is the time of year when million colorful blossoms engulf Aru. Spring brings in a sparkling freshness and a respite from chilly winters.
