The mountains were his playground and his first love. Yet destiny called him away: after spending over thirty-five years building bridges, roads, and dams across India’s plains and cities, he now returns as the scent of deodar lingered on him. Retirement finally freed him. He returned for good to the same ridge where he once flew kites as a child, built this homestay with his own hands to share the divine experience. He knows every secret viewpoint, every forest trail, and every season’s mood. In the evenings he lights a small bonfire, brews strong chai, and shares stories of old village life with a gentle smile. Simple, grounded, and genuinely happy to be home, he welcomes every guest like a long-lost friend finally returning to the mountains.
