Six self sufficient flats housed in a beautiful red brick building, Maskan offers you a comfortable and homely stay in Baghat, Srinagar - just 10 mins away from Lal Chowk. The red bricks have been finished with a local technique called surkhi tepa which adds an old world charm to the building. The bricks are complemented by the varied green hues of poplars and firs! The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful while being just a few feet away from the main road. The Jhelum walkway developed as part of the Srinagar smart city project is a tiled walk meandering along the River Jhelum and is just 2 kms away. SP museum lies on the same stretch and offers a peek into Kashmir’s rich culture for history buffs. The flats are well-appointed with rooms that are attractively and comfortably furnished, and a kitchen that includes a variety of appliances, fixtures, and utensils to make meal preparation for our guests a breeze.

Departmental stores, cafes, eateries are all within walking distance as well as a locally renowned bakery making mouthwatering pastries! For the traditional enthusiasts we have a local kandur just across the street who makes delicious local bread ‘choet’ on a decades old tandoor. You can enjoy these slathered with butter and honey with hot kehwa for a finger licking breakfast! The property connects to a manicured garden on one side. The daffodils, peonies and dianthus are a treat for the eyes!
