As you already know it is a family home. Me and my family have always loved hosting and letting people experience wayanad. As we move into our late youths we decided to share the warmth of our neighborhood to the rest of the world. Rest assured our home will feel like a home for you too.

We invite you to experience Wayanad at our home where generations thrived and a million stories were told. The idea of home provided here combines heritage, a tharavadu (ancestral home) with those features that remind you of a blend of the past with future. Made by the Britishers, during the early 20th century passed down by elder generations and is currently managed by the head of the family now. Pariyarathu veedu (ophel homes) is a heritage we want to share with the world.

Neighborhood info

We love quiet and nature but also need an easily accessible home. Luckily our home is a blend of all these.Nestled in the scenic hills of Pariyaram Kunnu, Mananthavady, the Pariyarathu Bungalow is more than just a place to stay it's a journey into history. Built in the 1890s by a British businessman, this stately home later became the residence of K.P. Mathew, who migrated from Pala and made it his family home. There are a lot of local attractions including muneeswaran kunnu, kuruva islands and tholpetty wildlife sanctuary all in easily accessible distance from the property.
