Location: A property with perfect Ladakhi Traditional architecture look adorned with the latest modern amenities. It is ideally located at a distance of just half a kilometer (11-minute walk) from Leh main market at Chubi village. Peaks and heritage sites like stok kangri (6150 m), 370 years old Leh palace, Mount Tsemo Castle, Khardungla pass (5360 m) and Shanti stupa are among the major immediate views from here. Facilities: Well-furnished 11 rooms with attached bath are uniquely fitted with sound proof toughen glassed windows to ensure best sleeping experience. Renewable energy sourced “solar water heater” are installed to supply each bathroom with hot water. Free Internet connectivity is available in rooms and reception areas.
Although the property is brand new the host has been in the hospitality industry for the last 20 years as a travel agency owner who entered the industry in the guise of a cultural as well as adventure guide initially.
Environment: Chubi a historically significant village on the foothills of Mt. Tsemo is considered the lung of the town or park for being the greenest part of Leh. Chubi has an evocative air to it and is one of the oldest habitats in Ladakh. Traditional farming habits among the inhabitants here is still vibrant and each household own at least an organic kitchen garden in their home premises.
