A welcoming and unassuming humble Malnad family hosts the guests, helping them with their touring destinations and any issues with their stay. The hosts are delighted to suggest and help guests procure amazing Malnad savouries like Kadgai, Mavinamidi uppinakai, Todadevu and Halsinakai Chips (all seasonal except uppinakai) and pure rural-made products like pepper, honey and coconut oil.

Being amidst a Malnad Arecanut and Coconut plantation, this Guest House boasts freshness and serenity. The trio of Malnad weather, occasional breeze from the "Basavanhole" Lake which is beside the plantation, and organic home-grown fruits (like tender coconut, cashew fruit, fig and guava) enhance the quality of your stay. Not too far from the Sagara city center, it takes ~12 minutes to reach the city's public bus stand.

Sagara is a town at the foot of the western ghats, known notably and especially to its closeness to the spiritual center of Varadahalli which was home to the Great Sage Sridhara of the Advaita; the Jog falls of the Tungabhadra - the river originating from the confluence of the rivers Tunga and Bhadra; the river-source Varadamoola, literally "origin of the Varada"; the magnificent Aghoreshwara temple of Ikkeri - the capital of King Rama Raja Nayaka; Rameshwara Temple of Keladi - the capital of Keladi Chennamma; and Madhukeshwara Temple of Banavasi - the capital of the Kadamba dynasty and home to the immortal Great Poet Pampa. The Artistic Village of Heggodu, known for Nilakanteshwara Natyaseva Sangha (NiNaSam) of the Magsaysay award winner K V Subbanna, is only ~17 minutes away from the city. At the edge of this gem of a town lies our guesthouse beside a lake, amidst a typical Malnad plantation through a humble settlement.
