The Lilac Farm is a rustic farm stay located an hour away from Bangalore city- run entirely on clean energy and zero waste. We created this space (formerly a dairy farm, now an animal rescue farm) as a labour of love- for our guests to slow down, reconnect with nature, and even gain a greater appreciation for handpicked, cruelty free produce.
Anitha is a passionate farmer, environmentalist, and animal lover who turned barren land into a thriving food forest. This healing space was born from a deeply personal journey. After her daughter fell ill, Anitha began rethinking health through the lens of food, nature, and ancestral wisdom. Her mission is to offer pure, clean food and nurture a world where humans live in harmony with all beings. During your stay, you’ll find her sharing stories about the land, natural wellness, and forgotten traditions that still hold powerful truths. Don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation. She’s always happy to talk about plants, farming, and nature based living.
