Búðardalur is a charming village surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is an excellent base for exploring West Iceland and the Westfjords. Guests enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while having restaurants, cafés, shops, and essential services within easy walking distance.
A visit to the modern Búðardalur Swimming Pool is a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. History enthusiasts will also enjoy the Leif Eirikson center, where you can learn about Leif Eiríksson and the Viking voyages to North America. During the summer of 2026, our guests can enjoy breakfast at the Vinland Centre between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., with admission to the exhibition included.
