Flugumýri is located on our farmland where horses run freely behind fences all around. We frequently have horse shows and our guests are welcome to visit our trophy house (where we keep all our horse riding trophies).

Flugumýri is a family run horse farm located in the magnificent Skagafjörður. Our rooms have all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay and a view over endless green fields where you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. The bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen are shared with another room.

Neighborhood info

Skagafjörður is an area of adventure for all! Offering a wide variety of activities, where you can get up and close with the Icelandic horse, go white water rafting down a glacier river in Bakkaflöt, go on a whale watching tour, relax in natural hot-springs, dive into the history through this saga rich region and enjoy an excellent cuisine.
