Gamli Skólinn – The Old Schoolhouse of Húsavík, is a family owned 3 floored timber framed house that dates back to the early 1900´s. Located at the base of Húsavik mountain and a short walk from the harbour, these converted apartments will make an ideal base for small groups visiting the town or exploring the north of Iceland. These self catering apartments with ample parking are located in a quiet central location of town, within short walking distance to all local attractions. The apartments are a short walk to the center of town, located 400m from the iconic church of Húsavík, opposite the safnahús (culture museum). Within a short walk are the harbour, restaurants, cafes, bakery and supermarket.
