Company info

Please note that no one is present when you arrive to the guesthouse. I don´t live in the house or near it. The house and its amenities for guests are in self-service. Every guest gets a code to access the house and a code to a key master to his/her room. Guests are kindly asked to leave their keys in the key master again on their departure. Welcome and have a pleasant stay!

Garður guesthouse is located on road no. 85 approx. 50 km east of Húsavík and a short 10 min drive to Ásbyrgi – Vatnajökull National Park. This house is partly renovated resulting in a bright and inviting house for up to 19 persons in 8 bedrooms. The house has shared 2 ½ bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and kitchenette, living room with TV, sitting area, laundry and free Wifi. Garður can be rented as a whole or single rooms. BBQ outside the veranda.

Neighborhood info

Perfect location to explore the Vatnajökull National Park; Ásbyrgi - Hljóðaklettar - Dettifoss, Mývatn, The Arctic Henge at Raufarhöfn and Húsavík. In Ásbyrgi is a handicraft market, a restaurant and a grocery store and for activities there is a bike rental and riding tours.
