We love to travel, eat good food, cook and bake, paint and play music. We love nature and normally if we have time we like to pick-nick. We have moved from the South of Iceland to the North and we don´t regret it. We enjoy living here in the North and receiving people from all around the world and serve them local food.

Klara’s Guesthouse is located in the building that once served as the town’s Post Office. The main floor, which used to house the post office itself, is now home to Café Klara, while the postmaster’s former apartment on the upper floor has been transformed into a cozy guesthouse with 5 rooms and 2 shared bathrooms. Guests have access to a small shared kitchen equipped with basic amenities, such as a kettle, fridge, and microwave. Please note: there are no cooking facilities, and cooking is not permitted. Neighborhood info

The small town of Ólafsfjörður is an amazing place to visit, whether it be in summer or winter. The town, which is surrounded by majestic mountains all around and looks into one of the fjords of Iceland on the ocean side, has many things to offer. During summer it is either the place to go hiking, sailing, fishing or taking amazing Midnight Sun walks amongst other things or mountain skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or taking beautiful Northern Lights trips up to the mountains or into the nearly uninhabited fjords.
