The host, Begga, has been offering guests to stay in her farm for more than 30 years. Begga offers 2 properties to rent out; one summerhouse (cottage) for 4 persons and a mini-cottage for 2 persons. Hagi-1 is a beautiful farm where you can relax and enjoy the nature all around.

This is a unique and quiet summer cottage in North Eastern Iceland. The cottage is surrounded by pure nature, very close to one of the best and most beautiful salmon rivers in Iceland, Laxá í Aðaldal. The location is good for those who are looking for quiet and nice stay. The cottage has two bedrooms for four persons. There is also the possibility to add mattresses for children under 12.

Guesthouse Hagi is in a quiet area but located near all the tourist attractions in North Iceland. This is a perfect location if you are planning to visit the wonders of Mývatn, go Whale watching in Húsavík or see the waterfall Dettifoss and the magnificent Ásbyrgi, all located on the so called Diamond Circle. Close to Hagi is the sheepfold Hraunsrétt, built in 1838. Hraunsrétt is made of lavarocks instead of timber or cement. Sheepfolds play a big part in Icelandic culture and it’s worth driving by it to see. The land around Hagi is very rich in birdlife. Hagi has been blessed with a rich birdlife and many very rare birds have their breeding grounds on the land and it can be a thrilling experience to go birdwatching in Hagi.
