A family owned farmhouse, all newly renovated. The apartment is attached to the farm house, brand new and cozy with a cabin feel - like atmosphere. Very good cooking facilities in an open living area with big windows facing the creek and the mountains and a door out to the patio. Cozy bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed that turns to a double bed. Free high speed wifi and a TV with local channels and Chromecast. New bathroom with toilet, sink, a walk in shower and build in storage units.
I bought this farm in 2023. Before, it belonged to my grandparents. Me an my brother, Kári, have been renovating it ever since. The exterior is still a little raw since we are still finishing our final touches, we hope it doesn't spoil your aesthetic feeling of the beautiful surroundings. We decided to start hosting and allow guests to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful area that we love so much. We hope you enjoy it too.
The farmhouse is located 34km North of Egilsstaðir where you will find shops, restaurants, pharmacy and other needed service. 22min drive to Vök Baths 50min drive to the majestic Stuðlagil canyon. 50min drive to Seyðisfjörður (Smyril Line ferry dock) 60min drive to Borgarfjörður eystri (The Puffin town) 60min drive to Sænautasel turfhouse
