Our studio apartment is newly renovated in the basement of our house. You enter a room with two beds ( one 90 cm bed and one 160 cm bed) in the other room are kitchen and bathroom. Me and my husband live on the second floor. We are on a farm and have horses, sheep, chicken and two dogs. Our guest are free to walk around on the farm and say hello to our animals.
My name is Freydis Anna and I live on this farm with my husband Hörður Þór. We are interested in sports, horse riding, reading, travelling and all kinds of activity.
Our house is located on google map as Hamrar Farm, there are two house at our farm one blue and one grey and white the apartment is in the grey and white on. We are well located at Hamrar , in the middle of many interesting places, 30 km from Mývatn (Dimmuborgir, Hverarond, Jardbodin, Bird museum, Safari horse rental, Skútustadagígar extr), 35 km from Húsavík (Whale watching, Whale museum, Exploration museum, Safnahusid, extr) 15 km from Godafoss waterfall, 10 km from Grenjadarstadur a turf house/museum, and 5 km away we have great swimming pool with hot tubes, restaurant and a store Dalakofinn, a bank and a post office. at our farm people can walk around and say hello to our animals, walk to a little pound (Hamratjörn) witch is on our farm and there is fish in it and a lot of birds, walk up in the hill above the farm where our sheep go free in the summertime or anywhere they like. Our farm are not near other farms so you will be the only guests and it is rather peaceful there.
