There are two identical houses uniquely located at one of Iceland's hot spots yet in a peaceful area with complete privacy and just nature around. Magnificent views on major landmarks such as Seljalandsfoss, Hekla, Eyjafjallajökull, Vestmannaeyjar islands. Surrounding landscape is breathtaking and undisturbed by any buildings or roads, the land its just 10minutes from main road 1, yet you will be alone here with no tourists around and no noise. You will be able to enjoy these views through big windows in the house offering 360 views, there is always something to see, watching Seljalandsfoss waterfall in the distance, many different types of wild birds, Icelandic horses or sheep grazing close by, ever changing weather, rain one minute, rainbow next, sun next, etc. The house is new, modern, offering big living room with fully equipped kitchen that has all the equipment needed for longer stays, big bedroom for two with its own wardrobe, bathroom offers big shower and luxurious feel. There is a wooden element throughout the house yet maintains clean modern design. Property is located 15min drive from Seljalandfoss, 15min drive from a black beach, 15min from a ferry terminal which takes you to Vestmannaeyjar islands and 30minutes from one of the most beautiful F roads (F161/210) and Porksmork. This property is suitable for people who want to get away from crowds, have piece and quiet and are not worried about empty spaces around.
David is and adventurer, explorer and fell in love with Iceland 10 years ago, especially with the area where this property lies. As always in life he wasn't planning to do this project, but realized that it would be amazing to be able to share his passion for this area and Icelandic nature with other people and decided to embark on this journey and offer the best possible experience to the guests.
The area can be described as - peaceful with stunning views all around. Guests can enjoy quietness, disconnect from their daily busy lives full of noises, people, lights, devices, etc. and exchange it here for quietness, stillness, occasional sounds of birds, rain or horses. There are few farms in the area who raise horses and sheep.
Property is located 15min drive from Seljalandfoss, 15min drive from a black beach, 15min from a ferry terminal which takes you to Vestmannaeyjar islands and 30minutes from one of the most beautiful F roads (F161/210) and Porksmork. Seljavallalaug Swimming Pool is 30min drive, Sólheimajökull is 50 min drive, Skogafoss is 35 min drive, Dyrhólaey is 50 min drive, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach is 55min drive, Vik is 1h drive. Closest town is Hvolsvollur where one can find groceries, gas station, pharmacy and a swimming pool, 20 minutes by car west from property on road no 1.
