Property info

Our property is the center in Bárðardalur valley. All year round we have events, festivities and host parties. Built in the 1960s as a boarding school for local kids, it has only recently retired as the kindergarten. Now Kiðagil serves as a guesthouse in the summer, and a sort of community-center all year round.

Neighborhood info

The valley is a lovely place to take a long Sunday-drive any day of the week. The hills/mountains are excellent for a light hike, and the two waterfalls at each end of the valley are both sights to be seen.
