Hi, My name is Guðrún and i represent Laxárdalur Cabins for my parents. My parents are farmers and have 300 sheep. We are a big family and are looking forward to renting out our new cabins and share our lovely nature that we own with you.

Property info

Laxárdalur Cabins are modern designed cabins rented out by a family of farmers. The cabins are located next to the family farm, in a valley in the North of Iceland, with stunning views and a beautiful river running through the valley. The cabins are equipped with one double bed (can be split it into two single beds), a kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom, and a patio. If you want the perfect getaway and real peace and quiet, while you are surrounded by beautiful landscape and nature, Laxárdalur Cabins is the place for you. From the beginning of May until middle of June our guests get the amazing opportunity to experience a real Icelandic farm life, and visit the large sheep shed that accommodates 300 sheep, and is only a few minute walk from the cabins. In the beginning of May you might even get the amazing opportunity to experience it when all the little lambs are born. **Myvatn is 50 km Away** See our website
