The Northern lights are a regular visitor in the cold months. Located at the mouth of Hvalfjördur, trails to the famous Glymur Waterfall are a 40-minute drive from Móar Cottages. Leynir Golf Club is only 4 km away, and there is a public swimming pool in Akranes. Central Reykjavík is 40 km away.
