The property was built in 1955. In 1981 the building was extended and used for the local post office, until it moved its residence in 2007 and the local liquor store took its place. since then the building has been known to locals as "the old post office" or as we say in Icelandic "Gamla pósthúsið" That's why we decided that the name "Post-Plaza" would be perfect for this beautiful guesthouse!

I'm a creative, loving, honest and enthusiastic person with many goals in life. Mother of one young daughter. My general interests include; traveling, music, languages, designing ,baking, arts and more. I look forward to meeting you at our Post-Plaza Guesthouse!

Post Plaza is located in the heart of Húsavík with a short walking distance to all of it's best places. One of the towns most beloved restaurants, "Naustið" is right across the street from our guesthouse and on the other side you have the local bakery "heimabakarí" just a few steps away. The local beach with black sand is just a 5 minute walk down the road as well as many other places.
