92 m² apartment on the second floor with a private entrance. The apartment has two bedrooms, each sleeping two guests, plus a 90 cm bed in a separate front area that can be closed off with a curtain. The living room and kitchen are in an open-plan layout with two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. There is one bathroom, as well as a washing machine and dryer. The south-facing balcony includes outdoor seating, a table, and a barbecue, and offers a beautiful view over the fjord. Free Wi-Fi and coffee are included. One adult bicycle and one children’s bicycle are also available for guests to use. From Thursday to Sunday, guests can also book a sightseeing tour on the fjord by boat for an additional fee.

About the Neighborhood The apartment is located in Patreksfjörður, a small and friendly town surrounded by dramatic Westfjords scenery, making it an excellent base for exploring the region. Rauðasandur (45 km away) is famous for its unique red-golden beach and wide-open views. The drive is scenic and best enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Látrabjarg, about 60 km from town, is the westernmost point of Iceland, known for its spectacular cliffs and rich birdlife, including puffins in summer. For everyday needs, Fjölval is located near the harbor. A gas station is just a 1-minute walk away and sells essentials such as milk, bread, and snacks. Fosshotel Patreksfjörður is also a 1-minute walk away and offers a bar and breakfast service. Near the harbor you will find Verbudin, a local pub, and we highly recommend Stúkuhúsið, a cozy restaurant and café. The local Patreksfjörður Swimming Pool is only a 2-minute drive away, and Patreksfjörður Golf Course is about a 15-minute drive from town. A popular natural hot pool called Pollurinn is located a short distance past Tálknafjörður and is loved by both locals and visitors.
