Lonely house among the rows of a vineyard with terrace in typical Aeolian style overlooking the sea and the islands. A refuge from hectic life, where you can relax and rediscover beauty immersed in the sounds and colors of nature. Distance from the center and the sea 15 minutes by a means. Location: Quattropani Chiesa Vecchia - from the main road you can reach it by a secondary road. We recommend a vehicle to follow (possibly to rent on the island)
It is located in the small village of Quattropani, overlooking the west side of the island offers unique views on the other islands at sunset time. Note for the Sanctuary of the Old Church (dedicated to St. Maria della Catena, destination of the September 8th pilgrimage and favorite location of many events now entering the tradition: May Day, "Night under the Stars" of August 10th, "to Luna Nova" end of July). Suggestive then the quarries of Caolino (famous for its fumaroles, the only ones still active on the island), and the numerous hiking trails that originate from the village to the whole island. To conclude with a flourish, you can not miss a visit to the "Tenuta Castellaro" winery, famous all over the world for its Bianco Pomice and Nero Ossidiana wines.
