We are located at the southern end of our region, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and is considered the gateway to Istria. Muggia is perfect for spending a few hours of relaxation and is particularly suitable for those who love slow and outdoor tourism. If you are wondering what to see in Muggia, in addition to the quaint old town, I suggest you go to Muggia Vecchia, on the hill overlooking the village, or take a nice walk along the sea to Porto San Rocco. The territory of the municipality of Muggia is also full of hiking trails to be covered both on foot and by bicycle, which go into nature and offer splendid views and sunsets.
