CasaViVa – A Slow Tuscan Escape Nestled in the gentle hills of Valdichiana, Agriturismo CasaViVa is a small family-run retreat where the beauty of Tuscany unfolds slowly. Surrounded by olive trees, open landscapes and golden sunsets, our historic stone house offers an intimate place to relax and reconnect with nature. From mid-June to mid-July, the lavender field next to the house blooms, filling the air with fragrance and colour. Cozy Rooms with Tuscan Charm The house offers four charming double rooms, each with a private bathroom and views of either the village square or the surrounding countryside. Carefully restored, the rooms blend traditional Tuscan character with modern comfort. CasaViVa is ideally located for exploring Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena and the Val d’Orcia, while offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.

Meet Your Hosts CasaViVa is run by Valentina and Víctor, an Italian psychotherapist and a Spanish aeronautical engineer who decided to change course in life and follow a dream in Tuscany. After many years working in different countries and industries, we chose to move to the Tuscan countryside with our two children, looking for a slower rhythm of life, closer to nature, the land and the simple beauty of everyday moments. What we love most about hosting is meeting people from around the world and sharing a small piece of our life here. From a glass of local wine in the garden to recommendations about hidden corners of Tuscany. CasaViVa is not just our work; it is our home, and we hope our guests can feel that warmth during their stay.

The Neighbourhood CasaViVa is located in the small historic village of Pozzo della Chiana, in the heart of Tuscany’s Valdichiana. Life here moves at a gentle pace, where local traditions, history and everyday Tuscan life can still be experienced. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, the village offers everything within a short walk: a restaurant and pizzeria, café, pharmacy, small local shops, bakery, bank and other essentials — all just a few steps from the house. From CasaViVa you can easily explore some of Tuscany’s most beautiful destinations such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena and Arezzo, as well as the rolling landscapes of the Val d’Orcia and the shores of Lake Trasimeno. The region is also renowned for its wines, including Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and Cortona Syrah, making it an ideal destination for wine lovers and travellers looking to discover the authentic flavours of Tuscany.
