The medieval village of Venzone, an example of architectural restoration, is a classic stop on the Alpe-Adria Salzburg - Grado cycle route. Venzone offers opportunities for nature walking or biking trips: caressed by the Tagliamento river, it is one of the municipalities of the Julian Pre-Alps Natural Park and is just a few kilometers from the Tre Comuni (Cavazzo) Lake. If you want to visit the Friuli Venezia Giulia region by car, Venzone is in a strategic position. In fact it could be a starting place for day trips to historic sites such as Aquileia and Cividale; cities such as Udine or Trieste; mountain areas such as Carnia, Canal del Ferro and Val Canale (Tarvisio). If you want to relax, Arta Terme and its spa is only 30 km North-West.
