Amarena Garden House is located in Contrada Serra Paducci, a peaceful countryside area surrounded by nature, just a few minutes from the historic center of Matera and the famous Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The property offers the perfect balance between relaxation and convenience, allowing guests to enjoy the tranquility of the rural landscape while remaining close to the city's main attractions. Getting here from Bari: Take the SS96 towards Altamura and continue on the SS99 towards Matera. The property is easily accessible from the main road network and can be reached in approximately 45 minutes from Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport. Getting here from Matera: From the city center, follow the signs towards Altamura and join the SS99. When approaching the Serra Paducci area, please take the exit marked "Santeramo / Serra Paducci / Zona Commerciale". This is the recommended and most convenient access to Amarena Garden House. Please do not take the exit marked "Serra Paducci / Serritello La Valle / Zona Commerciale", as some navigation systems may incorrectly suggest this route, resulting in a longer and less convenient journey. The surrounding area offers a genuine experience of the Matera countryside, with open landscapes, local farms, traditional restaurants, and easy access to both Matera and Altamura, making it an ideal base for exploring Basilicata and Puglia.
