Everything started a long time ago, now it's 20 years. We dreamed for a long time to open a guest house, with an english touch, but located in a key area of the center to permit our guests to experience the old Florence! The occasion arrived and it was so successful that we soon opened other Residenze in the same area. The secret of our success? Create structures exactly how our homes are: we've chosen everything, from the furnitures, to the decorations, colours and every little detail. Our collaborators are not just employees, they are fundamental and they will do their best to trasmit the feeling of being home to our guests and their love for Florence! We are waiting for you! Harmony, brightness and elegance are the hallmarks of this charming Florentine residence, located on the top floor (with elevator) of a beautiful ancient building. The rooms, all different from one another, have walls painted in soft colors, made from natural pigments. Precious oriental silks were used to tailor curtains and canopy beds. Pure linen fabrics, provided by Antica Tessitoria Busatti, decorate the lounge and the breakfast room. The roof terrace is a real thrill, offering a marvellous view over Florence and its hills.

Antica Dimora Johlea is the perfect solution for who is looking for an elegant and cozy place in the center of Florence, but far enough from its crowd to enjoy a quiet rest after a long day of visiting. The beautiful 19th century building, located in one of the most important streets of Florence gives a special atmosphere to our charming Residenza. The area is quiet and elegant, between Piazza S. Marco (Galleria dell’Accademia) and the ring road of Florence, full of traditional and authentic Trattorie and Restaurants; little shops and craft workshops that keeps the neighborhood alive and not touristic.
