Antiche Vie is the ideal B&B for those who want a holiday in the tranquillity of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, and to be at the centre of a land rich in history, culture and gastronomic traditions of excellence, in a crossroads of ancient streets and paths. The B&B is located in Pompeano di Serramazzoni (MO), on the slopes of the Modena Apennines, at about 790 metres above sea level, surrounded by immense meadows and with a breathtaking view of the Apennines and Mount Cimone. The house is built in bio-building, it is bright, thanks to the numerous windows, terraces, arches and windows on the roofs, sources of natural light. All the ceilings have wooden beams and terracotta tiles; the floors are made of terracotta or wooden parquet. All these materials and plasters give the rooms a particular warmth. The B&B Antiche Vie is a family residence; the guest rooms have an independent entrance. The 4 rooms, arranged on two floors, are spacious, comfortable and furnished in a simple and hospitable way. All bathrooms are spacious and equipped with shower; one bathroom is equipped for people with reduced mobility. It has an indoor swimming pool that can be used in the hot season.

Cinzia is pleased to welcome her guests, with her availability and kindness, contributes to make the B&B Antiche Vie warm and welcoming and she personally takes care of every detail. In the morning let yourself be surprised by the colours and flavours of the rich breakfast based on organic and local products, and with homemade tarts and cakes. Cinzia was born and lives in the place and is an expert connoisseur of the traditions and the territory and of what it offers; she can provide you with information material and advise you on naturalistic and artistic itineraries, typical restaurants where you can taste the delicacies of the Emilian food and wine tradition. Upon reservation, she can accompany you on a guided tour of a vinegar factory where Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is produced and on tasting experiences of the SlowFood Presidium Organic Parmigiano Reggiano and local wines with a sommelier. She can organize for you the experience to learn the art of puff pastry and stuffed pasta, such as tortelloni and tortellini and the art of making bread with sourdough and wood-burning oven. Also on reservation: creative workshops for children and plantar reflexology sessions.

The B&B Antiche Vie is surrounded by greenery with beautiful meadows, ponds, groves that characterize the natural and uncontaminated environment rich in biodiversity; an area with a strong agricultural vocation, with pastures, farms and dairies of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. The owners, Fausto and Cinzia, have been practicing organic farming for over twenty years, and are tenacious guardians of the territory. It is an ideal starting point to reach important cities and Unesco heritage sites, such as Modena, and countless villages and towns rich in history, culture and traditions. There are also many naturalistic itineraries for trekking and excursions also with e-bike (rental nearby). The B&B has an enclosure with horses, donkeys and cows; it has an agreement with: a riding school nearby for lessons and horse riding, with an organic farm restaurant where you can taste the traditional Emilian culinary specialities. In the nearby Maranello there is the Ferrari Museum and adrenaline lovers can enjoy an exclusive service (in agreement with a car rental): a ride in a wonderful Ferrari to experience the thrill of being driven by a mythical car in the land of the Prancing Horse.
