The apartment lungo via del mare is an ideal place for people who like to relax in beautiful surroundings near the sea and the mountains but also appreciate being very close to a typical Mediterranean holiday resort. Orosei is a picturesque coastal village situated about an hour’s drive south of Olbia (port and airport). The apartmet is about 1,5 kilometer from the beach on the beautiful Golf of Orosei also known as Europe’s Caribbean. The nearest beach “Marina di Orosei” can be reached by car, bike or in a 20 minutes’ walk alongside the river “Cedrino”. Restaurants, cafés and shops are within easy walking distance from the Residence, all under a five minute walk.

The Gulf of Orosei is said to be one of the most interesting holiday areas in Sardinia. It is most famous for its multi-shaped sandy shores along the coastline, its small coves with dreamy wetlands in the background, but also for its charming mountain regions with their picturesque villages and imposing gorges. The stunning beaches are among the most beautiful in Europe. These beaches include the fine white sand beach of “Biderosa” (Nature park), “Cala Ginepro”, the small Bay of “Fuil el Mar” and the pinewood beach “Su Barone” (Nature reserve).The fairytale bays of “Cala Luna”, “Cala Sisine”, “Cala Mariolu” and “Cala Goloritze”,can only be reached by boat. It is one of the highlights of your stay to rent a rubber dinghy to reach these bays or you can take the ferry from Orosei or “Cala Gonone”. The Gulf of Orosei is always among the top 3 coastal areas in Europe regarding beauty and cleanliness as seen in regular polls and even water tests. Other recreational possibilities are diving, canoeing, trekking, cycling, climbing, quads, expeditions into the wild interior and wine tasting. The preseason in April has a charm of its own. The island then presents itself in lush greenery and beautiful flowers. The aromatic scents of wild herbs that grow in the Mediterranean “macchia” stimulate the senses. During this time it is worthwhile to hike, explore the interior or you can go to visit the hospitable, local shepherds and see production of the delicious sheep’s cheese “Pecorino Sardo” with a glass of homemade delicious wine. Sardinia is a treasure trove of archaeological sites which will astound even the most discerning of history minded tourists with many layers of history to unfold and explore. The long sandy beach near the he apartment (Marina di Orosei) to Su Barone (nature reserve) and Osala are lined with fragrant pine forests, and offers even during the high season a lot of space and is certainly one of the top locations that the island has to offer.
