Our Casa in Piazza… This quaint 65 sq.m. medieval house is perfectly located in a residential piazza in the pedestrian part of the historical center of Vasto, steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. The centrally heated house has an open plan ground floor with a kitchenette and lounge/diner and free wi-fi. The opening shuttered front windows by the extending dining table (seats 4) look out to the piazza. The double bedroom with king size bed has original high wooden beamed ceiling and 2 double wardrobes. French doors and a Juliet balcony overlooking a sunny piazza. It has optional air-conditioning (supplement of 7 Euro a day payable on arrival) but a fan is provided. We also provide a table and 2 chairs so you can sit overlooking the piazza. The large bathroom has a high wood beamed ceiling and window looking into a cobbled alley. It has a bath with shower over, bidet and heated towel rail. Unlimited Wi-Fi internet access. Free street parking close by with map provided and multi-storey paid car park close by. Maximum 2 guests City tax of 1.50 euro per person per night is payable on arrival.

About us… Hello, we are Judy and James. We are English and we have been living and working in Vasto for 13 years. We originally bought a holiday home here and liked it so much, that within 2 years we had moved here permanently. For the last 15 years we have been renting out our holiday properties in Vasto to travellers keen to experience ‘real’ Italy, and all the delights that the town and beach have to offer. Many of our guests have returned and are now like old friends! As well as our extensive local knowledge, we also provide a full information brochure in our properties with areas of local interest, maps, recommended restaurants and a full programme of events for during your stay. We also live close to both our properties, so we are on hand to answer questions and help. We meet and greet each and every guest on arrival, to welcome them to Vasto and show them to the properties. We were awarded the certificate of excellence 2019, from Tripadvisor and Travellers choice award for 2020 for our fantastic reviews. Our holiday rental property is located in the historical center of medieval Vasto, Abruzzo, Italy. Vasto is on the Adriatic coast in the Chieti region, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Vasto town is built on the Roman ruins of Histonium, and is a medieval town with great charm and character. Vasto has been an important city since Roman times – the Roman baths and part of the original amphitheatre are still to be seen – and the character and history are everywhere in the pedestrian Centro Storico (historical center) where our property is located. The town overlooks the beach of the Golfo D’Oro (golden gulf) with views down as far as the Gargano peninsular – the spur on the boot of Italy to the right, and the nature parks and beaches of Punta Penna and Punta A’Derci to the left You can walk from the property to the beach in 15 minutes down steps, or take the local bus and be there in 5 minutes. Vasto has the best of both worlds, there is plenty to see and do in the town itself, churches and cathedrals, museums, the Roman baths with mosaics, a medieval castle, the lovely park with fountains and childrens play area, and the beautiful beaches right on the doorstep!
